McCook Golf Finishes Runner-Up at Gothenburg

The McCook Boys Golf Team finished Runner-Up at Gothenburg on Thursday.  McCook's Cole Graham won the meet placing 1st with a team score of a 74, Landon Kmoch finished 3rd place and shot a 76, Reid Loop finished 12th with an 81, Kolton Koetter shot an 83 and finished 16th, and Trenton Raile placed 26th and shot an 88. McCook back in action Monday at Scottsbluff.

Comment from Head Coach Ben Vetrovsky: "Another solid day for the Bison finishing 2nd at Gothenburg. We had some tough weather conditions with the lower temperatures and wind."

"Proud of Cole Graham and his efforts on winning the invite. He has worked so hard to get to this point in his career and it is nice to see his hard work pay off. Landon Kmoch had an awesome two days of golf finishing in the top 5 both days at McCook and Gothenburg. The 3rd place finish today was great and I look forward to seeing how he improves the rest of the season. Reid Loop struck the ball really well off the tee today, just had some issues on and around the greens. He will continue working on his game and we will see bounce back. Kolton Koetter continues to show his consistency and steady improvements throughout the season. I really like where Kolton's game is at and how it is trending towards the end of the season. Trenton is also playing some solid golf. Once he eliminates some of the bigger numbers his scores will show significant improvements."
